All these places have their moments, With lovers and friends, I still can recall.
In My Life, The Beatles
I've tried to scratch my creative itch over the years in various ways including photography, playing the guitar, singing, writing songs and drawing. I love having an artistic outlet to balance the seriousness of life, and find that wedding photography and music in particular keeps me mentally in check and buzzing for the next day. This is why I've turned my passions into businesses, so I get to do what I love all the time - go stalk my Wedding Singer and Guitarist insta to see more.
I've had an obsession, bordering on compulsion, with understanding what makes people tick. I'm less interested in the chit-chat of cocktail parties - I'm all about those deep conversations about what matters in life. That's why I trained professionally for an eternity to become a Psychologist. I bring my expertise on relationships and matters of the heart to your wedding photography, making you and your guests feel like you've known me for years. Having a good connection between us leads to the best pictures that hits you right in the feels.
Music has worked its way into the fabric of my life. You'll see that my website is scattered with song lyrics, and this gives a good sense of what it's like in the depths of my brain. Every occasion, every moment, every pocket of my life is represented by a song I was listening to. Music pulls on the heart strings in such a visceral way, and that's what I try to achieve with your wedding photography. I love bands like Joy Division and The Smiths, as well a acoustic artists like Tallest Man on Earth, Nick Drake and Fionn Regan. I'm also a hip-hop fan. Pretty eclectic eh right.
I look about 22, but I'm really 37, which now is starting to become a blessing as age assert its grip on my body. I've got two children, Fionn and Maeve, with my wife Vicky. They bring light into my life, but probably have quickened the aforementioned ageing process. My house is full of other non-human dependants, who I cherish like my children, although I'm not sure the feelings are reciprocated by the affable Pepper (dog), the thieving Wallace (dog), the roguish Gilbert (cat) and the never-to-be-seen Plum (cat).
